The Fitzgibbon Cup is at the quarter-finals stage for 2007 and all 4 games are down for decision today and tomorrow. The fixtures are
- Limerick IT v UCD
- UL v Cork IT
- NUI Galway v UCC
- St. Pats v DIT
The 4 winners will then advance to the
finals weekend which this year is in Carlow on 9th/10th March.
Limerick IT, winners 2 years ago, knocked out Waterford IT, the holders, in the last round so they must be among the favourites. Although the 4 big universities UL, UCD, UCC and NUIG always field strong teams.
