[ # ] Club action - November 4th
November 5th, 2007

Most of the county finals have now been played and we’re getting into the club championship action. One of the last county finals was the Waterford one where Ballduff Upper beat the favourites Ballygunner by 1-18 to 1-14 to win their first title in 20 years.

In a big game in the Munster club quarter final Loughmore-Castleiney of Tipp beat Erin’s Own of Cork by 2-11 to 0-14. Also down south Clare’s new champions Tulla easily beat Lixnaw of Kerry on a score of 4-16 to 2-6.

In a surprisingly close game in Leinster Ballyhale Shamrocks only beat Mattock Rangers of Carlow by 1-14 to 0-12.

I just came across this site while researching genealogy. My GGGGgrandfather was born in or around Loughmore. Anybody there?
