[ # ] Andrew O’Shaughnessy has Broken Toe
February 29th, 2008

Just saw this reported over on the Setanta Sports site, Andrew O’Shaughnessy broke his toe during training the other night. Apparently they only realised the extent of it when they x rayed it last night. It means he can’t play for Galway Mayo IT in the Fitzgibbon cup, they were due to play LIT today in the semi finals. As if that wasn’t bad enough for GMIT apparently Conor Kavanagh misses out too due to a broken jaw. That all but ends their chances of causing an upset, LIT should have a much easier passage to the final now.

UPDATE: Turns out both guys played in the semi finals… not sure what the full story is here…
