Limerick IT and Waterford IT won today’s Fitzgibbon cup semi finals in Cork.
LIT beat GMIT by 3 points, 3-10 to 2-10. LIT were ahead by 13 points at one stage but in the end were holding on for dear life. Given that GMIT were missing Andrew O’Shaughnessy it’s a great performance from them. UPDATE: Turns out you can’t believe anything these days, O’Shaughnessy actually started and played the whole game…
The other game was close all the way through. WIT just held on by two points, 2-14 to 1-15.
Set’s up a great final between LIT and WIT tomorrow at 3pm. It’s live on TG4.
Repeat of their group stage clash which WIT won by a point
