Following on from the last post about the hurling preview we might as well checks the odds on the Liam McCarthy cup across the main Irish bookies and see where the best value is to be had. Included Betfair as well for comparison.

The most striking odds are those in the second last column from John Wall, a bookmakers based in Wicklow - You can get Tipp at the huge price of 14-1!! and Galway at 15-2 which is the best available. Hard to believe the Tipp one but it’s there on their website, valid as May 1st.

The best price about Cork is 15-2 from Boylesports and I think that’s where i’ll put my money for now.

I have checked with John Wall and he is now only offering 7-1 on Tipp, not sure if anyone got the massive 14-1 but good luck to you if you did, i think it is Tipps year.

i’m afraid not, just a name sake from the same county. Same name, slightly less ability unfortunately!!
