The first hurling championship action of the year starts on Sunday with 2 preliminary round games in
Ulster. The
Ulster championship isn’t part of the Liam McCarthy cup but it’s great to see all 9 counties being involved. They’re really making great strides up there in promoting the game - despite the lack of support from GAA headquarters.
Sunday May 11th
Ulster Championship Preliminary Round
Cavan v Monaghan (3.45pm Kingspan Breffni Park)
Fermanagh v Tyrone (3.45pm Lisnaskea)
Based on League performances you’d have to expect away wins for Monaghan and Tyrone.
