Kilkenny going for the clean sweep of Senior, Intermediate, Under 21 and Minor. They’re favourites to do it although it’s close enough in the betting, Kilkenny around 4/6 and Tipperary 11/8. After the Senior debacle this could be a great game, the Under 21 grade often produces classic matches.

Given the high that Kilkenny are on it’s hard to look past them. With TJ Reid and Richie Hogan ready to run up plenty of scores Tipp will need to be firing on all cylinders. Still with the backing of the 06 and 07 minor wins and a solid senior season of their own Tipp might just be able to halt the Cat’s charge. Hopefully they can - sick of looking at black and amber jerseys lifting trophys.
